Frequently asked

Questions families ask us.

If your question isn't here, call us on 020 7018 2721 — we're happy to talk through anything.

  • How quickly can care start?

For most situations we can begin within 5 to 7 days of an enquiry — sometimes sooner. The first step is a free home assessment with a senior carer, usually within 48 hours of your call.

  • What happens if a carer can't make a visit?

Our office team covers backup. You'll always have a familiar face available, and we'll let you know in advance if a regular carer changes.

  • Are you NHS-funded or do families pay directly?

Both. We work with NHS commissioners and local authorities across four London boroughs, and also support private clients. We can help you understand what funding might be available.

  • Can you support someone with complex or multiple needs?

Yes. Many of our service users have complex needs — we work closely with GPs, district nurses, and family members to coordinate care across the wider team.

  • What training do your carers have?

All carers complete the Care Certificate. Senior carers and specialist staff complete additional modules — dementia, palliative, mental health, safeguarding. Training is refreshed annually.
